Nesting Duck In The Boat Next To Mine

This Mallard hen chose to make her 'nest' on a pile of line (rope to lubbers) inside the cockpit enclosure of my neighbor's boat. She has her head down but you can make it out if you look hard, and you can see her eggs - she has 8. They owners won't disturb her until her chicks are hatched and then they will help them down to the water, as it isn't clear that they could make that large a jump on their own. Nice people. A duck on a boat seems to be a good omen.
